Inspiring the next generation.

About Us

Inclusive 1-2-1 Tutoring for ages 6 – 16.

Founded in March 2025, Laura’s Bright Stars was born from a passion for supporting learners who flourish best outside of a traditional, one-size fits all classroom. We believe that every child has a unique light; our mission is to provide the bespoke focused attention they need to help it shine.

We deliver high-quality tuition in maths and English based on the national curriculum and functional skills’ ensuring all lessons as age and level appropriate. However, we add a “twist;” moving away from static lectures and towards active engagement through fun,
inclusive platforms.

Each session is tailored to individual learners. Most resources are provided where suitable. Plans are prepared in advance and can be adjusted as needed.

Pricing starts from £30+ per hour.

Meet Laura

Founder of Laura’s Bright Stars

I created Laura’s Bright Stars with a personal mission: ‘To support learners who find
mainstream academic settings a challenge.’ Whether due to SEN, mental health or eating
disorders; I believe everyone deserves an education that fits them, rather than being forced
to fit the system.
My journey is fuelled by my experience as a mother to a neurodivergent daughter.
Navigating the extra support she requires for her own education has given me a unique,
first-hand perspective on the importance of patience, flexibility and advocacy in learning.
Since high school, I knew my path was in high education and today I am fulfilling that dream
by helping each learner shine.

What We Offer

1 on 1

Sessions are designed around learner’s specific strengths, interests and learning space.

Who We Support

We specialise is supporting all learners aged 6-16 (Key stage 1 through to Key stage 4). Whether learner’s need to close a gap in their KS1 phonics or requires targeted support for GCSE maths, we provide the inclusive environment they need to succeed. We understand that many learners face unique barriers to learning, which is why SEN and emotional
wellbeing support is at the heart of what we do.

Learn Where It's Best For You!

Education should happen where learners feel most secure and learns best. We bring out fun and inclusive sessions directly to you throughout the day.
- In Home – Familiar and comfortable surroundings to reduce anxiety.
- At School – Collaborating within a school environment where appropriate.
- Chosen safe spaces – Community hubs or quiet libraries.
We strive to create a “safe space” where learners feel heard and understood, ensuring that their mental wellbeing is never sacrificed for an academic target.
