With over 10 years experience across early years, primary, secondary and further education including SEN; I bring a wealth of knowledge from both voluntary and professional roles.
Teaching Status
I hold a level 5 Diploma in Education & Training, providing teaching status.
Specialisms
I have dedicated much of my career to understanding diverse needs, holding level 3 certificates in Autism awareness, Principles of SEN, Specific learning difficulties & Mental illness in children and young people.
Academic background
Achieving Level 4 qualifications in English Literature and Film studies in addition to Level 3 qualifications in Maths and English along with further subjects.

Finding the Right fit
I understand that my unique strategies and delivery methods may not be for everyone. Because of this relationship between tutor and learner is crucial I offer a free 30-minute consultation (subject to availability). This is an opportunity for me to meet parents, carers, teachers and learners to help you decide if we are the right match.
Safety First
I hold a current Enhanced DBS (On the update service), Level 2 safeguarding, first aid training, prevent duty and Health and Safety
Certification.
My ‘Twist’
I move away from the ‘desk chair’ approach; I believe that if a learner is interested, they are building knowledge. My sessions are bespoke and can incorporate anything from Lego and cars to cooking, make up and sensory play.
I use practical tools like:
- Visual timetables and timers for predictability.
- Movement breaks and dance to regulate energy.
- Sensory tools and fidgets to aid focus.
Empathy at heart
I understand that “bad days” happen. I am deeply empathetic to the emotional hurdles learners face and I pride myself on being an approachable, calm presences during those tougher moments. While I maintain a professional environment and follow all legal safeguarding pathways, my 1 st priority is always the wellbeing and comfort of my learners.
About Me
When I’m not tutoring, you’ll usually find me covered in sparkle. I spend my spare time
making rhinestone creations to support my daughter and her dancing. I love bringing that
same spark and creativity into my teaching.
